Archiving Exchange Public Folders with forwarding rules

Hi,

I have an Exchange 2010 Public Folder tree that I want to archive.

I've made the configurations needed, and started the task.

Once it started, the public folders that had rules to forward, started resending all the e-mails in them.

The closest problem I've found to mine was http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/archiving-public-folders-have-rules but, in my case I want to leave shortcuts, because I want all the information to be available to users.

Any advice?
