Event Log Filtering Registry Keys Missing

Hi.  Running Entherprise Vault v 10.0.4 and found that the registry key for the Event Log Filtering feature (ref http://kbdownload.symantec.com/resources/sites/BUSINESS/content/live/DOCUMENTATION/6000/DOC6303/en_US/EV%2010.0.3%20Feature%20Briefing%20-%20Event%20Filtering%20%28December%202012%29.pdf?__gda__=1410368375_da1ccb13a7f1c683cd10c009e0548cfb) does not exist on the new EV 10.0.4 servers but the feature is enabled and and appears functional.

About the 10.0.4 EV servers, they were migrated to from EV 9.0.3 using the Server Settings Migration Wizard.

Trying to figure out why this feature is working without the registry settings which control this feature.
